Study of irradiation decomposition products of PUREX solvents on zirconium metal retention behavior

Abstract The metal retention behaviors of several simulated radiolysis products on zirconium were investigated, and it was found that acid phosphate product HDEHP has the greatest effect. effects extraction nitric concentration, temperature behavior also investigated. results showed forms complexes with resulting in organic phase. Nitric concentration change morphology thus affecting behavior. almost no effect retention.
